- Diagnose bone loss and osteoporosis
- Determine risk of future bone fractures
- Monitor existing treatment of osteoporosis
Please talk to your doctor to see if you are at risk for osteoporosis. BMD tests for persons at low or high risk for osteoporosis are covered by OHIP.
